Welcome to HoppRyde. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services. By using HoppRyde, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with these Terms and Conditions or any part of them, you must not use our services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our services, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing or using our services.
“Service” means the transfer service provided by HoppRyde.
“User,” “You,” and “Your” refers to the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service.
“Company,” “We,” “Us,” and “Our” refers to HoppRyde.
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
“Third-Party Service Provider” means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company, including payment processors, analytics providers, and other service providers.
3.1. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by HoppRyde.
3.2. Upon confirmation of your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation via email or through the application.
3.3. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information when making a booking, including but not limited to pickup and drop-off locations, dates, times, and passenger details.
3.4. HoppRyde reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
3.5. By making a booking, you confirm that all passengers will adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
3.6. Special requests (such as child seats, additional stops, or specific vehicle types) must be requested at the time of booking and are subject to availability and additional charges.
4.1. All prices are quoted in the currency specified during the booking process and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4.2. Payment methods accepted include credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified on our website or application.
4.3. For certain bookings, a deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.
4.4. HoppRyde reserves the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
4.5. All payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers. HoppRyde does not store your complete payment information on our servers.
4.6. Our third-party payment providers may have their own terms and conditions that apply to your use of their services. We encourage you to read these terms before proceeding with any payment.
4.7. Additional charges may apply for services requested during the transfer that were not included in the original booking, such as additional stops, waiting time, or route changes.
4.8. For business customers, we offer invoicing options subject to credit approval. Please contact our business team for more information.
5.1. Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of service booked and will be clearly communicated during the booking process.
5.2. For standard transfers, cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time may be eligible for a full refund.
5.3. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a cancellation fee or may not be eligible for a refund.
5.4. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
5.5. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
5.6. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to be processed, depending on your payment provider.
5.7. If your transfer is delayed or canceled due to circumstances within our control, we will offer you a full refund or an alternative transfer at no additional cost.
5.8. If your transfer is delayed or canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events), our liability will be limited to providing an alternative transfer or a refund at our discretion.
6.1. HoppRyde strives to provide high-quality, reliable transfer services.
6.2. Our drivers are professional, licensed, and insured according to local regulations.
6.3. All vehicles are regularly maintained and comply with safety standards.
6.4. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, HoppRyde reserves the right to substitute the booked vehicle with an alternative vehicle of similar or higher standard.
6.5. Our drivers will monitor your flight arrival time for airport transfers and adjust your pickup time accordingly in case of delays, at no additional charge for delays up to 60 minutes.
6.6. For non-airport pickups, our drivers will wait for up to 15 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time. Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.
6.7. We reserve the right to refuse transportation to any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior is considered dangerous or inappropriate.
7.1. You agree to be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
7.2. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the transfer.
7.3. You are responsible for your personal belongings during the transfer.
7.4. You agree not to engage in any behavior that may endanger the safety of the driver, other passengers, or the vehicle.
7.5. Smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, and using illegal substances are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
7.6. You must wear seatbelts at all times during the transfer, in accordance with local laws.
7.7. You are responsible for ensuring that all passengers, including children, comply with these Terms and Conditions.
7.8. You must inform us in advance if you will be traveling with oversized luggage, sports equipment, or any items that may require special handling or additional space.
7.9. You are responsible for obtaining and carrying all necessary travel documents, including but not limited to passports, visas, and identification documents.
8.1. HoppRyde shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
8.2. HoppRyde shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, war, riot, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, or accidents.
8.3. Our liability for any claim arising from the provision of our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to such claim.
8.4. HoppRyde is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the transfer.
8.5. HoppRyde is not responsible for any delays or missed connections due to traffic conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
8.6. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
9.1. The HoppRyde name, logo, website, application, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by HoppRyde and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
9.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website or application without our prior written consent.
9.3. You may not use any automated means, including but not limited to robots, spiders, or scrapers, to access, monitor, or copy any content from our website or application.
9.4. You may not use any HoppRyde trademarks, service marks, or logos without our prior written consent.
10.1. Our Privacy Policy, available on our website, explains how we collect, use, and disclose information that pertains to your privacy.
10.2. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.3. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws. As a user based in the European Union, you have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:
a) The right to access your personal data
b) The right to rectify inaccurate personal data
c) The right to erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
d) The right to restrict processing of your personal data
e) The right to data portability
f) The right to object to processing of your personal data
g) The right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling
10.4. HoppRyde does not store your payment information on our servers. All payment transactions are processed by secure third-party payment providers who comply with PCI-DSS standards.
10.5. We only collect and process the minimum amount of personal data necessary to provide our services to you.
10.6. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
10.7. If you wish to exercise your right to have your personal data deleted, please email us at privacy@hoppryde.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once your data has been deleted from our systems.
10.8. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law.

11.1. HoppRyde may use third-party services to facilitate our service, process payments, analyze our service usage, or assist in marketing efforts.

11.4. HoppRyde is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services that you may access through our service.
12.1. HoppRyde reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
12.2. We will provide notice of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms and Conditions and/or by other means as determined by us.
12.3. Your continued use of our services after any modifications to the Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
12.4. We recommend that you review these Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes.
13.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HoppRyde is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.2. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction in which HoppRyde is registered.
13.3. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
13.4. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
